GRT Hotels to foray into serviced apartments sector

Hospitality services provider GRT Hotels and Resorts plans to foray into the service apartments business with the launch of two such apartments in Hyderabad and Coimbatore.
Under the brand 'GRT Vibes', GRT Hotels and Resorts would open one each apartment in Hyderabad and Coimbatore with a capacity of 35 and 47 rooms respectively, GRT Group Chief Operating Officer Vikram Cotah said in a statement.
"The two apartments would be opened by March 2015 and the investments was around Rs 7 to Rs 10 crore", he said.
The company, also expanded its Hotel business by inaugurating the Group's 10th hotel, GRT Regency, in temple town Tiruttani situated about 85 km from here.

On the jewellery business, he said, "the Group plans to double the showrooms to 50 by 2017. "We will have 50 showrooms in New Delhi, Middle East, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu by 2017", he said.
