Guar gum futures down on tepid export demand

Guar gum prices declined by Rs 107 to Rs 7,436 per five quintal in futures trade on Monday amid tepid export demand at the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for November delivery traded lower by Rs 107, or 1.42 per cent, at Rs 7,436 per five quintal with an open interest of 26,005 lots.

Guar gum contracts for December delivery also traded lower by Rs 99, or 1.29 per cent, to Rs 7,550 per five quintal mirroring an open interest of 42,215 lots.
