At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guargum prices for delivery in current month was trading lower by Rs 80, or 1.19 per cent to Rs 6,630 per quintal, with an open interest of 7,745 lots.
In a similar manner, the most-active delivery in November dipped by Rs 80 or 1.16 per cent to Rs 6,889 per quintal, having an open interest of 36,400 lots.
Marketmen said subdued trend in spot markets on profit-booking by participants amid ample stocks on increased supplies from growing regions, mainly weighed on guargum prices in futures trade here.
