At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, guarseed for delivery in most-active May month contracts gained Rs 113, or 3.48 per cent to Rs 3,359 per quintal, having an open interest of 47,230 lots.
Similarly, delivery in current month delivery was trading higher by Rs 108, or 3.38 per cent at Rs 3,307 per quintal, with an open interest of 28,160 lots.
Marketmen said a firm trend at the spot markets on the back of strong demand and rising exports, mainly influenced guarseed prices at future trade here.
