The accused official, Bharat Bhushan Goyal, was demanding Rs 25 lakh from the complainant for land use conversion of 25 bigha land. He had already taken Rs 1.50 lakh and was arrested while accepting Rs 3.5 lakh yesterday, Director General, ACB, Bhupendra Dak said.
Apart from this, Goyal had demanded Rs 12.50 lakh or nine bigha land for Shahpura Circle Officer (of Police) Vijay Meena and the middleman, Shankar Agrawal, had also demanded Rs five lakh for himself, the DG said.
The role of others in the case is being verified, he added.
