"Ranjanben Bhatt now has a lead of 2,34,377 votes against her rival Congress nominee from Vadodara Lok Sabha seat at the end of 12 rounds of counting," an Election Officer said.
About 5.87 lakhs votes have been counted so far in the prestigious LS seat.
By-polls were held in Vadodara Lok Sabha constituency after Prime Minister Narendra Modi vacated this seat after choosing to retain Varanasi seat in Uttar Pradesh.
Nearly 45.30 per cent polling has been registered in the LS constituency.
