Rupani made the announcement while addressing farmers at "Krishi Mahotsav" at Gondal town of Rajkot district.
"We are working towards clearing all the 1.25 lakh pending applications for agricultural electricity connections, which were received before 2013, by the end of this year," said the chief minister.
Rupani also assured the farmers of Saurashtra region that his government is committed to fill all the 115 dams in that region with river Narmada water under Sauni project at the earliest.
