A faction of Gujjars led by former MLA Atar Singh Bhadana today announced a mahapanchayat in Delhi on June 30 to press for their demand of five per cent reservation.
The decision was taken in a meeting, participated by the community members from across state, held near Chandwaji on Jaipur-Delhi highway, Bhadana said.
"A community Mahapanchayat will take place in Delhi on June 30 to press for our demand of five per cent reservation in government jobs. If the Rajasthan government does not pay heed to our demand, we may be forced to block highways or stop trains anytime," he warned.
