Gur ends flat in Delhi, Raskat declines in Muzaffarnagar

The wholesale gur (jaggery) market settled steady in the national capital today following scattered demand amid adequate stocks.
On the other hand, gur raskat prices in Muzaffarnagar dropped by Rs 100 per quintal on heavy supplies amid weak demand from beer makers.
Marketmen said falling demand from beer makers coupled with increased arrivals from manufacturing belts, largely pulled down gur raskat prices in Muzaffarnagar.
In Muzaffarnagar, gur Raskat prices drifted lower by Rs 100 to conclude at Rs 2,750-2,800 per quintal.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,000-3,100, pedi Rs 3,200-3,300, dhayya Rs 3,400-3,500 and shakkar Rs 3,500-3,600.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,750-2,800, chakku Rs 2,600-3,000, khurpa Rs 2,700-2,750 and Ladoo Rs 2,850-3,000.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,800-2,850 and dhayya Rs 2,900-2,950.
