Gur ends flat on in thin trading

Steady conditions prevailed at the wholesale gur (jaggery) in the national capital today as prices continued to move in a limited range on scattered buying and selling and settled flat.
Muzzafarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets too displayed a steady trend on little doing.
Marketmen said little scattered buying, mainly kept gur prices at previous levels.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,600-3,700, pedi Rs 3,800-4000, dhayya Rs 3,900-4,000 and shakkar Rs 4,000-4,100.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,800-2,850, chakku Rs 3,300-3,400, khurpa Rs 2,925-2,950 and Ladoo Rs 3,000-3,050.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,500-3,550 and dhayya Rs 3,150-3,175.
