On the other hand, gur prices in Muzzafarnagar and Muradnagar firmed up on paucity of stocks against pick up in demand.
Marketmen said tight stocks position on negligible arrivals from producing regions against pick up in demand from stockists mainly pushed up gur prices in Muzzafarngar and Muradngar.
At Muzaffarnagar, gur raskat rose by Rs 100 to Rs 2,800-2,850 per quintal.
Gur chakku also settled higher at Rs 3,300-3,400 against last close of Rs 3,250-3,300 per quintal.
At Muradnagar, gur pedi quoted higher at Rs 3,500-3,550 instead of Rs 3,400-3,450 per quintal.
Gur chakku Rs 3,600-3,700, pedi Rs 3,800-4000, dhayya Rs 3,900-4,000 and shakkar Rs 4,000-4,100.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,800-2,850, chakku Rs 3,300-3,400, khurpa Rs 2,925-2,950 and Ladoo Rs 3,000-3,050.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,500-3,550 and dhayya Rs 3,150-3,175.
