Firm conditions prevailed at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today as most of gur varieties spurted on pick up in demand from local parties and stockists.
Traders said pick up in demand from local parties and stockists against restricted supplies from producing regions led to upsurge in gur prices.
They said a firm trend in sugar, also supported the up side in gur prices.
