Gurgaon's Joint Commissioner of Police Bharti Arora, who was recently involved in a spat with a fellow IPS officer, was tonight among six IPS officers transferred by the Haryana Government in a reshuffle.
Bharti Arora has now been posted as DIG (Welfare and Training) at Police Headquarters at Panchkula against a vacant post, an official release said.
Bharti Arora had recently accused Gurgaon Police Commissioner Navdeep Singh Virk of "falsely implicating" a family in a rape case and threatening her, a charge which had been denied by him.
Among other IPS officers, Y Puran Kumar has been posted as DIG (Law and Order), police headquarters at Panchkula, against a vacant post on promotion.
The state government today also ordered transfer and posting of five HPS officers with immediate effect.
