The Haryana Governor has accepted the resignation of Dharambir Singh who had quit as Chief Parliamentary Secretary on Sunday.
The Governor has accepted the resignation of Singh from the post of CPS in the Bhupinder Singh Hooda government with effect from March 10, an official release said here today.
Denied ticket for upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Bhiwani-Mahendergarh seat in Haryana, the 4-time Congress MLA had announced his decision to quit the post of CPS at a rally in Bhiwani on Sunday.
Dharambir was apparently sulking over the decision to renominate state Cabinet minister Kiran Chaudhry's daughter Shruti from Bhiwani-Mahendergarh seat.
Dharambir represents Sohna seat, which is a part of the Bhiwani-Mahendergarh Lok Sabha constituency, in the state assembly.
