The Governor has been informed by the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir that an amount of Rs 6.54 crore was disbursed during the last three days in various districts of the Valley, a Raj Bhawan spokesperson said.
The disbursement of relief to the traders resumed this week after the Governor's directions to the Divisional Commissioner during his visit to Srinagar on February 16, the spokesperson said.
The Governor has also directed to speed up disbursement of relief out of Rs 1,194 crore approved under Prime Minister's Development Package 2015, to families whose houses were damaged in September floods.
