Actor and Makkal Needhi Maiam founder-president Kamal Haasan today named three persons to key party posts including its vice-president.
"We are glad to announce that our party is now registered with the Election Commission of India," Haasan said.
G Gnanasambandham has been appointed vice-president while A Arunachalam will be general secretary, he said in a statement.
K Suresh will be the party treasurer, Haasan said, adding, he will continue to be president.
A core commitee formed on an ad hoc basis earlier was being dissolved and the members will now "continue to direct the party as its state executive committee members," he said.
He also announced appointment of MNM's various district functionaries.
