The shooting of Shahid Kapoor starrer 'Haider' had to be stopped temporarily for some time following protests by local residents in Anantnag district of Kashmir.
Local residents started hurling snow balls at the crew of 'Haider' -- Bollywood adaption of Shakespearean play Hamlet -- when they were shooting some sequences at Keribal area of Anantnag district, 55 kms from here, police sources said.
They said police personnel posted on security duty chased away the protestors but the crew decided not to shoot at that location.
The crew later went to nearby temple town of Mattan and resumed shooting there, the sources said.
No one was hurt in the incident.
The movie, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, also features Irrfan Khan and Tabu.
