Haley Bennett to star in 'The Magnificent Seven'

Actress Haley Bennett is set to play the female lead opposite an ensemble cast headed by Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt in the Antoine Fuqua-directed 'The Magnificent Seven' for MGM.
Bennett, 27, most recently co-starred with Washington in the Fuqua-directed 'The Equalizer', and she just wrapped 'The Blunderer' opposite Patrick Wilson and Jessica Biel, and Warren Beatty's untitled film about Howard Hughes, reported Deadline.
Her representatives and lawyer Dave Feldman are making the deal.
In the film, a town is taken over by a ruthless gold mining baron and his thugs.
Bennett plays the widow of a man who was murdered, and hires a bounty hunter to get rid of the baron and his thugs, and gives the bounty hunter enough money to pay six gunmen to help him in the cause.
