Gauri Shinde helmed "Dear Zindagi" had Alia Bhatt in the lead. The film has Shah Rukh as Dr Jehangir, an unconventional therapist who helps a budding cinematographer (Alia) gain a new perspective on life.
"I am happy the film has turned out well. Its Gauri Shinde and Alia Bhatt's film. I am a small part of it. I had to make sure I stand up to their expectations and I am very happy I could do that," Shah Rukh told reporters here last night at Star Screen awards.
"The trailer will be out on December 7. Hopefully everyone will like it. I hope everyone will like the film as well," he added.
