The 25-year-old "Twilight" star no longer pays too much attention to other people's advice as she just wants to "do her own thing," reported Female First.
"I'm a lot happier and I'm feeling really good. I feel I can be myself more and now allow myself to get sidetracked by other considerations or advice from people. Earlier in my career I had too many people telling me what I should be doing and it was hard for me to deal with all that.
Stewart is proud she has been "able to make sense" of what she wants from life at a relatively young age.
"It's important to understand as soon as possible what you really want in life. Some people never figure that out but I think I've been able to make sense of what I want to accomplish and how I want to live... The most important thing is to be really happy," she said.
