The training programme for the in-service teachers would commence from the first week of September and each session would be of 20 days, Education Minister Geeta Bhukkal said here.
An amount of over Rs 20.48 crore had been approved for the project, the minister said.
In addition, 1,665 recently recruited science and maths teachers have already received training under the induction programme, she said.
Bhukkal said that a 12-days training programme for 5,784 Head Teachers had also been approved and a sum of Rs 115.68 lakh would be utilised on the project.
