Hardline Hurriyat Conference led by Syed Ali Shah Geelani today called for boycott of the Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, saying there was "no justification" of conducting polls when people of the state were "struggling for their survival".
"The administration totally ignored all the difficulties and miseries of the flood-hit people and announced the election drama," Geelani said in a statement.
He said Hurriyat has a clear stand on the "election drama" and appealed to people to boycott the polls.
