Presiding over a meeting of the State Level Committee on MPLADS, he also directed the officials to ensure that information related to the scheme was uploaded on the websites in a timely manner.
Besides presiding over the meeting, the Chief Secretary also addressed the deputy commissioners and additional deputy commissioners of various districts through video-conferencing.
The meeting was informed that funds to the tune of Rs 138.85 crore had been released to members of Rajya Sabha and the 16th Lok Sabha under the scheme up to July 31.
MPs present on the occasion gave their suggestions for effective implementation of the scheme.
Those present at the meeting included MPs Ram Kumar Kashyap and Dharambir Singh, besides senior state government officials.
