Haryana DGP replaced

Director General of Haryana
Police Yashpal Singhal has been removed from the post by the state government tonight.
A 1985 batch IPS officer K P Singh, DGP Crime has been made the DGP in place of Singhal, an official spokesperson said.
No reason was stated for the sudden removal of 1983 batch IPS officer Singhal who has been posted as DGP Prisons in place of K Selvaraj, whose new posting has not been announced.
A 1990 batch IPS officer Satrujeet Singh Kapur, ADGP of CID, has been transferred and posted as ADGP Crime against a vacant post.
Inspector General of Police, Hisar, Anil Kumar Rao has been posted as IGP of CID in place of Kapur, the spokesperson said.
