Haryana on top against J&K

Rajat Paliwal played a marathon knock of 194 as Haryana took complete control of their Ranji Trophy Group C encounter against Jammu and Kashmir by posting a formidable first innings total of 502 on the second day here.
In reply, Jammu and Kashmir were 84/1 with opener Shubham Khajuria (48) and Pranav Gupta (25) at the crease when stumps were drawn for the day.
The day belonged to Paliwal, whose epic knock was the cornerstone of Haryana's first innings. In his 328-ball stay at the crease, Paliwal struck 23 fours.
Lower down the order Sanjay Pahal put together a 124-ball 59, which was laced with 10 hits to the fence.
For Jammu and Kashmir, Parveez Rasool was the top wicket-taker with a haul of 3/77 in 29 overs.
