Principal Secretary of Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department Abhilaksh Likhi said this after a review meeting of the department here today.
Cattle crushes would be set up in all villages by November 1 this year so that the cattle get proper veterinary care even in those villages where there is no veterinary institution, Likhi said.
He directed the officers to deal with the complaints received through CM Window on a priority basis and implement the schemes and projects announced by the Chief Minister in a time-bound manner.
He said that the report on stock of medicines meant for the cattle should be sent to the headquarter regularly.
He said that the Deputy Directors of the department are important link between the government and the cattle breeders and they should disseminate the information about schemes of the central and state governments to the cattle breeders.
They should focus on schemes of milch cattle and subsidy to open dairy units.
He also directed that the information sought from them by the headquarter should be sent on time.
Those who would disobey, would invite action against themselves, he added.
He said that officers should keep themselves updated through WhatsApp and should mark their availability at least twice a day.
