Managing Director of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) Nitin Yadav said here today that in the first phase it would be implemented for domestic and non domestic consumers in Kalka sub-division under Ambala operation section.
Subsequently, it would be extended in all the areas under UHBVN.
Presently, domestic and non-domestic consumers with less than 20 KW consumption are billed bi-monthly.
With the implementation of the new system, the consumers would be able to analyse their bill more effectively. It will enable them to manage their electricity consumption and monthly expenditure, he added.
