Haryana tourism to give 20 pc discount to state govt officers

All serving as well as retired officers and officials of the state government will be offered 20 per cent discount by Haryana Tourism Corporation on room-booking at any of its Tourist Complexes.
This decision has been taken following the persistent requests from officers and officials of various Departments Boards and Corporations of Haryana in this regard.
While giving this information here today, Principal Secretary, Tourism Department, Sumita Misra said that an authenticated employee ID with photograph is required on check-in to avail this discount.
She said that there are 42 Tourist Complexes adjoining lakes, bird sanctuary and golf course that are equipped with 838 air-conditioned rooms, multi-cuisine restaurants, well-stocked bars, state-of-the-art convention centres, banquets and multipurpose halls all over the state.

Misra said that Haryana Tourism Corporation has come up with an initiative to promote and project tourism in the State by getting a Haryana Travel Guide published for the ease of travellers.
