Haryana Vigilance Bureau register cases

Haryana State Vigilance Bureau registered criminal cases against one gazetted officer, four non-gazetted officers and one other person, while departmental action was initiated against seven gazetted officers.
Stating this here today, a spokesman of the Bureau said, 18 officials were also caught while accepting illegal gratification ranging from Rs 2,000 to Rs 8.50 lakh recently.
Criminal cases have been registered against them under Prevention of Corruption Act, he said.
