Justice S Vaidhyanathan of Madurai Bench said if police had closed the case they should give a copy of the document for closing the case to the petitioner T Nallusamy within two weeks.
The judge also left it open to the petitioner to file a private complaint against the MLA A K Bose and his son Sivasubramaniam in a magistrate court and seek legal remedy.
He alleged that the MLA's son had fraudulently obtained power of attorney to the land from the children of his siblings in February 2010.
He also transferred 25 cents in favour of his mother B Backialakshmi in a fraudulent manner, the petitioner alleged.
When he questioned the MLA and his son about this, they abused him and threatened to kill him if he pursued the matter, he alleged.
