Madhya Pradesh High Court's Indore bench today dismissed two petitions challenging the 2013 election of BJP leader Ranjana Baghel to the state Assembly from Manawar constituency in Dhar district.
Justice Vedprakash Sharma dismissed the two petitions for want of evidence, the MLA's lawyer Rahul Sethi said.
Two local persons, Niranjan Dawar and Govind Sirvi, had filed the petitions, seeking annulment of election alleging that Baghel indulged in corrupt in practises to win.
