Justice K.Ravichandrabaabu, who dismissed all the writ petitions filed by one Kumar who sought to quash the retender notification for building health centre at Thollavilai in Nagercoil Municipal area and give the work order to him.
The Judge said "if such person(writ petitioner) is allowed to go freely simply dismissing the writ petitions, it would send wrong signal to the litigant public."
"It is a fit case for imposing heavy cost for indulging in supression of facts. Accordingly, all the petitions are dismissed and the petitioner is directed to pay Rs.50,000 payable to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Flood Relief Fund within two weeks," he ordered.
