The petitioner, M K Kuruvilla, contended that he was implicated as an accused in the six cases after he filed a complaint on the alleged involvement of Chief Minister's relatives and staff in the solar Panel scam. He was also arrested and put behind bars.
He said there was no chance of a fair or proper investigation if the probe was conducted by the state police. Only a CBI probe wold bring out the truth, he contended.
