"The general body of the High Court Bar Association unanimously passed a resolution to call off the agitation in view of the fact that Asok Mohanty, who was a former president of the Bar, has been granted bail," Association's Secretary Bidyadhar Pradhan said.
Pradhan made it clear that lawyers across the state, who had been boycotting their respective courts for last three days shall resume work from tomorrow. Since the High Court remains closed on Saturday, the lawyers of the HC would be attending the court from Monday.
Mohanty, who had relinquished his constitutional position as AG on September 12, was arrested by CBI from his house here on September 22. Mohanty was arrested in connection with his alleged link with a chit fund company CMD and entering into a fraudulent property deal with him.
