Bucking the initial weakness in the stock where it touched a 52-week low of Rs 30.65 in intraday, shares of HCL Info ended at Rs 33.75, a gain of 5.63 per cent on the BSE. During the day, it soared 10.48 per cent to Rs 35.30.
On the NSE, it climbed 5.95 per cent to close at Rs 33.80.
Technology major Dell today announced it has entered into a strategic distribution partnership with HCL Infosystems Ltd to distribute Dell's entire Hardware & Software Products.
The strategic partnership will widen the reach of Dell's products especially in Tier II and Tier III locations across the country, the release said adding, the partnership also involves comprehensive Go-to-Market initiatives and activities.
