Health check up of freedom fighters at doorsteps in Jind

"Besides freedom fighters, medical check-up of their widows will also be done every month on a regular basis," Jhajjar Civil Surgeon Dr Ramesh Dhankhar said here today.

All investigations and medicines would be given to them free of cost, he said.

Around 40 freedom fighters and their widows stay in Jhajjar district and require regular medical aid.

An ambulance will also be made available to transport ailing freedom fighters and their widows to hospital in case of need, he added.
