Severe heat wave conditions continued in Rajasthan's Bikaner division, where Churu was the hottest place in the state registering a day temperature of 42.2 degrees Celsius.
Churu is closely followed by Barmer which sizzled at 41.4 degrees Celsius, the MeT department said.
Blistering heat affected normal life in other parts of the state also.
Bikaner and Jaisalmer each recorded a high of 41 degrees Celsius, while Kota, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Pilani and Sriganganagar registered maximum temperatures of 40.7 degrees Celsius, 40.5 degrees Celsius, 39.9 degrees Celsius, 39.1 degrees Celsius and 39 degree Celsius respectively.
The weatherman has predicted heat wave conditions for some pars of Jaipur and Bikaner divisions till tomorrow.
