Sriganganagar for the second consecutive day was recorded hottest with 46.8 degrees Celsius followed by Churu at 46, officials of the weather department said.
Bikaner recorded 45 degrees Celsius, followed by 44.5 at Jaisalmer, 44.3 in Barmer, 44.2 in Kota, 43.7 in Pilani, 43.2 in Jaipur, 43 in Dabok in Jodhopur and 42.1 in Ajmer.
The MeT department has predicted heatwave to severe heatwave condition at many places and warm night conditions in isolated places in western region of Rajasthan.
