According to the Met department, Ramganj and Baheri received seven cm rainfall each while Fatehpur, Jamania and Pallia each received five cm rains.
Four cm rainfall was recorded in Aligarh and Ghazipur while Chuman, Gyanpur and Amla recorded three cm each.
Southwest monsoon has been normal in the eastern part of the state.
The Met has forecast rain or thunder shower at many places over the state.
Due to rains, the Sharda river is flowing above danger mark at Palliakalan (Kheri), while the Ghagra was above the red mark at Elgin Bridge in Barabanki, Ayodhya, Turtipar in Ballia.
The Ganga and the Yamuna are also flowing at danger mark in Fatehgarh and Moradabad respectively, the report added.
