The help desk, set up jointly by Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB), which administers various temples, including the Sabarimala shrine, and Dhanlakshmi Bank, was inaugurated by board President M P Govindan Nair at a function here.

Lakhs of devotees undertake the pilgrimage to the temple during the two-month long annual 'Mandala-Makaravillku' festival which started on November 17.
