Hester Biosciences today reported 26.72 per cent rise in standalone net profit to Rs 9.01 crore for the March quarter, 2017-18.
It had posted net profit of Rs 7.11 crore for the January-March period of 2016-17, Hester Biosciences said in a filing to BSE.
The standalone net sales of the company rose to Rs 37.48 crore for the fourth quarter of last fiscal as against Rs 35.59 crore in the year-ago period.
For the entire 2017-18, the standalone net profit of Hester rose to Rs 30.55 crore. It was Rs 24.94 crore in the preceding fiscal.
Its net sales rose to Rs 135.25 crore for the fiscal ended March 2018. It was Rs 125.57 crore in 2016-17.
Total dividend for 2017-18 will be Rs 10 per equity share as against Rs 5.30 per equity share in 2016-17, the company said.
Shares of Hester Biosciences Ltd were trading 4.64 per cent at Rs 1,548.05 on BSE in the afternoon.
