Based on a specific information, Rashtriya Rifle (RR) troops and police launched a joint operation at Malgot in Kishtwar district and busted a hideout today, a Defence spokesman said here.
The recoveries from the hideout include a 51/52mm mortar, a 7.62mm self-loading rifle, two Pakistan-origin pistols, one hand-held radio set, 415 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, 12 rounds of 0.380mm ammunition, six mortar bombs, 12 UBGL grenades, 10 hand grenades, three 7.62mm rifle magazines and two pistol magazines, he said.
The busting of the hideout is a major blow to terrorists and has once again displayed the total domination of the Indian Army and security forces in the hinterland of Kishtwar, the spokesman added.
