Hik Vision launches surveillance equipments for J&K

Hik Vision, a global brand dealing in security surveillance equipment, today introduced several new products in Jammu and Kashmir, catering to the security concerns of the state.
"In Jammu and Kashmir, there is a need for security surveillance in schools, colleges, hospitals, government offices and other valuable places," Ankush Sharma, Managing Director Global Village, Jammu, said.
He said the company has introduced a range of new products like Turbo HD, Fisheye IP cameras and other surveillance equipment.

HP launches storage server
* IT hardware company HP today launched a new model of its storage server which is over three time faster compared to the version launched last year.

"The HP 3PAR StoreServ storage 20000 series is over three times faster, 8 times denser compared to 7000 series launched last year. It will also come at 73 per cent less price compared to previous model," HP India Director for Storage Barun Lala said at the launch event.

These servers will start shipping in August for price starting at USD 75,000.

PHDCCI ties up with IIE for skill development in NE * The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) today said it has joined hands with Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship in Guwahati for working towards skill development in the North East.

The two establishments have tied up to extend cooperation to each other in the areas of skill development and entrepreneurship in the region by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), PHDCCI said in a statement.
As per the agreement, the chamber will create logistics and operational procedures, whereas IIE will work with PHDCCI in organising activities on skill development, entrepreneurship and on mutually decided terms.
