Modi wished him long and healthy life in a tweet this morning.
His admirers, supporters and well wishers including ministers, MLAs and officers, chairpersons of boards and corporations and people from different states made a beeline to his private residence at Holley Lodge to greet him.
Singh also inaugurated a blood donation camp at Sanjauli in the evening and participated in community lunch organised by Harish Janartha, Vice-Chairman of state Tourism Development Corporation at IGMS Shimla.
"I am a God fearing person and believe in myself, the law of the land and above all the truth and not afraid of any inquiry or investigations," Singh said, adding ultimately truth will prevail and he will come out clean from all the allegations.
When asked about his successor in the party, he said whosoever wants to be in race will have to get it by his or her own caliber and capabilities and added that he had a successful political journey and has no regrets.
