The board of directors of the company at its meeting held today "considered and approved the appointment" of Halbe, who is presently the CFO of Himatsingka America Inc, a 100 per cent subsidiary of Himatsingka Seide Limited.
"Ashutosh Halbe is a chartered accountant by qualification and has an industry experience in the field of finance for more than 20 years in the manufacturing sector," Himatsingka Seide said in a regulatory filing.
He joined Himatsingka group in November 2007 as Associate Vice President Corporate Accounts.
