Hiten, Hina, Shilpa locked in 'Bigg Boss' house

Popular television actors Hiten Tejwani, Hina Khan and Shilpa Shinde are among the popular contestants of TV reality show "Bigg Boss 11".
The 11th season of the popular show opened its doors today, and an eclectic mix of celebrities and commoners will have to battle it out to survive inside the house for a period of 100-plus days.
The launch of this season saw host Salman Khan and Varun Dhawan sharing screen space and dancing to the beats of 'Tan Tana Tan' from "Judwaa 2" film, even as Jacqueline Fernandes and Taapsee Pannu joined them.
Before entering the house, Hiten was accompanied by his wife Gauri Pradhan for a special performance on the song 'Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo'.
Hina sang 'Lag Jaa Gale' and Priyank Sharma of "Roadies" fame shook a leg on Badshah's hit number Mercy.
The other contestants include Shilpa Shinde, film producer Vikas Gupta, VJ Benafsha Soonawala and Arshi Khan.
The other contestants are Zubair Khan, son-in-law of Haseena Parker; Sapna Choudhary, a well-known Haryanvi singer-dancer; double PhD holder and occult specialist Shivani Durgah; Jyoti Kumari, a daughter of a peon from Masaudi, Bihar; Bandagi Kalra, an engineer; Puneesh Sharma, owner of Playboy Club in Gurugram; Akash Dadlani, a rapper from Mumbai; and Sabyasachi Satpathy.
It was from last season that the makers introduced the element of having celebrities and commoners together in the house, and result being commoner Manveer Gurjar emerging as the winner.
