Rajasthan Frontier of the Border Security Force will pay a tribute to its martyrs from the state at an event on October 18.
In the 'Homage to Martyrs' event, tributes will be paid to BSF martyrs at schools where they completed their primary education, IG (BSF) BR Meghwal said.
"The decision to pay homage was taken during the Director General/Inspector General-level conference of all paramilitary forces and state police held on December 19-20, 2015 at Rann of Kutch," he said.
Stone-inscriptions describing the bravery of the martyr as well as their photo will be put up in the premises of their school.
MLAs, village councillors, village pradhans, sarpanches, and other local leaders are set to attend the event.
129 BSF border guards of Rajasthan have died in the line of duty since the raising of the BSF in 1965.
