According to weather department, the maximum temperature was recorded at 34.5 degrees Celsius, one degree above normal while the minimum temperature settled three notches below the season's average at 18.2 degrees.
MeT department officials said humidity in air oscillated between 87 and 34 per cent.
The weather department has predicted mainly clear skies for tomorrow but thundery conditions could occur in the evening.
"It will be a mainly clear sky tomorrow. It can become partly cloudy sky from afternoon onwards and thundery condition could occur from evening onwards.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature has settled at a normal of 33.5 degrees Celsius, and the minimum was registered at 19.8 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's normal.
