Hot, sunny day in Delhi

Delhiites sweated it out under a scorching sun today with the mercury rising two notches above the season's average to 42.6 degrees Celsius.
"The minimum temperature was recorded at 27.6 degrees Celsius which is normal for this part of the season," a MeT department official said.
The humidity in air continued to be low and oscillated between 54 and 20 per cent.
According to the MeT department official, skies will turn partly cloudy in the later half of tomorrow.
"Mainly clear skies will turn partly cloudy tomorrow afternoon or evening onwards. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 43 and 28 degrees Celsius, respectively," according to a MeT forecast.

Yesterday, maximum temperature was recorded at 42 degrees Celsius while the minimum stood at 27 degrees Celsius.
