Patna too registered a slight increase in the day's maximum temperature at 38.1 deg C followed by Bhagalpur at 36.8 deg C, while Purnea was at 33.6 deg C, it said.
The maximum temperature will rise marginally tomorrow, the Meteorological Centre said adding, the sky may remain cloudy with prospect of rain/thunderstorm at a few places across the state.
